Terms of Service

Settl is operated by Settl Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. In these terms “we”, “us” and “Settl” mean Settl Ltd.

Settl is a membership that gives you access to a curated network of hotels, cafés and workspaces where you can book a seat to work, meet and collaborate. Availability, venues and features may change over time.

• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
• Accounts are personal to you and must not be shared. You must be at least 16 to use Settl.
• Tell us promptly at our contact page if you suspect unauthorised use.

New members receive a free trial when their account is activated. We will make clear the length of any trial at sign-up. Where paid plans are introduced, the price, billing cycle and cancellation terms will be shown before you commit, and you will be able to cancel in line with those terms.

• A booking reserves a seat at a venue for the time you select, subject to the venue’s rules.
• You can cancel a booking in line with the cancellation window shown in the app.
• Venues are independent businesses. While using a venue you must follow its house rules and treat its staff and other guests with respect.

You agree not to misuse the service, including not to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or interfere with its operation;
• use the service to harass, harm or defraud others; or
• scrape, copy or resell the service or its content without our permission.

If you list a venue on Settl, additional partner terms apply to that relationship. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for honouring the bookings you accept.

Settl, its branding and the content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them only as needed to use the service. You keep ownership of content you submit but grant us a licence to use it to operate and promote the service.

We work to keep Settl available and accurate but provide it “as is”. We do not guarantee that venues, offers or availability will always be as shown, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent venues.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or to protect the service, other users or venues.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
